Blender: Halo Wave

I'm pretty sure most of the Blender users never tried to use the halo material for a scene. Let's see what you can do with the default cube, lots of object modifiers and a halo material (some simple compositing will help too). Enjoy!


You can see the result on the video below. As always feel free to experiment. I rendered lots of frames since the whole scene was pretty fast to render. You can add some variation to the cube animation by animating the wave speed, the displacement strength etc. The result looks kind of blurry like on my previous videotutorial result. Must mainly be a Youtube thing; the real render is crisper than what you see on the video.
